All of these lines across my face tell you the story of who I am, So many stories of where I've been and how I got to where I am, But these stories don't mean anything when you've got no one to tell them to It's true... I was made for you
I climbed across the mountain tops, swam all across the ocean blue, I crossed all the lines and I broke all the rules, but baby I broke them all for you, Because even when I was flat broke you made me feel like a million bucks, You do, I was made for you
You see the smile that's on my mouth it's hiding the words that don't come out, And all of my friends who think that I'm blessed they don't know what I've been through like you do,
"Entrego-me nas tuas mãos.
"Deste-me o dom da vida. K. Gibran
Definitivamente "you were meant for me and I was meant for you"
"When the day is long and the night, the night is yours alone, When you're sure you've had enough of this life, well hang on, Don't let yourself go, 'cause everybody cries and everybody hurts sometimes, Sometimes everything is wrong. Now it's time to sing along, When your day is night alone, (hold on, hold on), If you feel like letting go, (hold on), When you think you've had too much of this life, well hang on, 'Cause everybody hurts. Take comfort in your friends Everybody hurts. Don't throw your hand. Oh, no. Don't throw your hand if you feel like you're alone, no, no, no, you are not alone. If you're on your own in this life, the days and nights are long, When you think you've had too much of this life to hang on, Well, everybody hurts sometimes, everybody cries. And everybody hurts so, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, Everybody hurts. You are not alone"
Unhappiness where's when I was young and we didn't give a damn, 'cause we were raised to see life as fun and take it if we can.
My mother, my mother, she hold me, she hold me, when I was out there. My father, my father, he liked me, oh he liked me, does anyone care?
To understand what I've become, it wasn't my design, and people everywhere think something better than I am.
But I miss you!... Does anyone care? Unhappiness where's when I was young and we didn't give a damn, 'Cause we were raised to see life as fun and take it if we can."
O meu pai... tenho a lembrança nitida do quanto me amou...
